Nature Lovers' Earth Day Scholarships Available

"People who genuinely love nature deserve support and recognition for that love because they hold a seldom recognized, teachable, key to resolving our most destructive disorders," says Dr. Michael Cohen, Director of the Institute of Global Education's (IGE) online Integrated Ecology degree program. For this reason as part of Earth Day and Earth Year Celebrations
(April 22, 2004-2005,) a group of individuals and not-for-profit organizations have established a cooperative scholarship program and Earth Day training website at http://www.ecopsych.com/iupsapplicants.html.

The purpose of the scholarship and program is to help make a unique, intercultural, Organic Psychology readily available to the public. It has shown to help people strengthen their love of Nature and thereby reverse many stress producing trespasses against ourselves, society and the environment.

Organic Psychology provides distant learning education that reconnects people with their sensory origins in Nature. Students learn directly from the intelligent support of natural attractions within and around them, as well as from each other and their mentors.

The members of the coalition deeply care about building responsible relationships to preserve the integrity of humanity and ecosystems. They are responding to many people's need for affordable educational process that reverses our destructive ways with each other and the environment.

Dr. Cohen, author of "Reconnecting With Nature," says, "This remarkable scholarship program has been developed in cooperation with the pioneering, distant learning centers of the several schools promote personal and global wellness."

Most of the IGE students are accomplished, mid-career, professionals from a wide variety of occupations. They enjoy, learn and teach NSTP as an environmentally and socially responsible component to their work that contributes to contemporary people living sustainably. Mastering NSTP increases the joy of their livelihood, their status and opportunities.

The Earth Day website is located at http://www.ecopsych.com
Scholarship information is available at http://www.ecopsych.com/iupsapplicants.html
