Akamai University
Located in the USA
and certified in good standing with the State of Hawaii Office
of Consumer Protection. Akamai accepts all credits and equivalencies from IGE/PNC towards graduate and undergraduate degrees.
Akamai offers two different degree options
Option 1: A non-accredited BS MS or PhD degree
Option 2: Option 1 plus an additional UNESCO approved identical degree from an associated university, San Juan De La Cruz University in Costa Rica.
This San Juan degree reflects that, unlike many other countries, Costa Rica is concerned about, and addresses,
the misguided thinking that underlies the excessiveness and
environmental and social deteriation that the world suffers. It has abolished its army, established a Ministery
of Justice and Peace and holds one of the highest Green Environmental
Ratings in the world.
This second degree is accepted as an equivalent degree in all countries including the USA (with the exception of a few professions where your degree may be completed with an extra required course or two.
Option 2 is more expensive than Option 1 and has only been available since January, 2009.
West Coast University
Located in the Republic
of Panama it was Internationally Accredited in 2003 by the International
Council for Open & Distance Education (ICDE) an agency recognized
by UNESCO & UNO. Since then, the degrees of West Coast University
have also been evaluated as equivalent to US regionally accredited
degrees and degrees. and associated to and accredited by Global
Education System of European Informatization Academy (AEI), established under the decree
of Belgian King Albert II. One AEI Institution, World Information
Distributed University (WIDU),offers
Grand PhDs where Dr.Kofi Anan, Ph.D., Secretary General of UNO
graduated.
