A Lizard, Bee and Refrigerator Homeostatic Mechanism Demonstrates the Higher Intelligence Desire to be Alive

- Anonymous Project NatureConnect Participant

I did the first portion of this exercise indoors with a refrigerator.  The purpose of the activity was to gain consent from things and discover "what they might want to teach me," or what I was attracted to learn on some level.

I gained consent from my refrigerator and asked for its help with this activity.  I did the activity by myself and the refrigerator, to me, became a multisensory attraction relationship. I no longer recognized it as a material object because I became one with refrigerator a multisensory relationship. I thanked my multisensory self and refrigerator.

Then I gained consent from a natural area and I did the same activity with a tree. The refrigerator is self-regulating, tree is self-regulating, and the natural area is self-regulating.  The difference between refrigerator, natural area and tree, however, is the source of their homeostatic mechanisms. A difference between refrigerator and tree is desire to be alive.  I felt the desire to be alive missing in refrigerator, it doesn’t have a sense of self.  My senses didn’t feel completely fulfilled interacting with refrigerator nor did I feel an energy exchange with it. My senses felt weakened.  The refrigerator has no natural intelligence to work with tensions, sensations and feelings or natural attractions.

The tree has a sense of self, a natural intelligence to work with tensions, sensations, feelings and natural attractions. Therefore my senses felt fulfilled when interacting with tree. I felt an energy exchange with tree. Refrigerator does not inherently support the global life community while the tree and people inherently do.

The global life community survives by intelligently organizing, preserving and regenerating itself.  Refrigerator doesn’t recognize relationships. Refrigerator cannot survive by intelligently organizing, preserving and regenerating itself. Like the refrigerator /doesn’t have nature/  or is disconnected from nature, people living indoors are also disconnected from nature.

People indoors do not gain the fulfillment of their senses. So they feel unfulfilled and want more and more which is not ever enough. Outdoor people (which includes tree etc) are connected to nature within and around them they can feel fulfilled and satisfied.

I discovered that the difference between refrigerator and tree is the  source of their homeostatic mechanisms, that life in a refrigerator comes from man not from nature whereas life in us comes from a higher intelligences in and around us.  I also learned that material and energy are held together through the natural attraction process

I am a person who gets good feelings from NIAL, from connecting with the ongoing love –wholeness of life and I am a person who loves a tree.

Nancy wrote her experience to our study cohort:

"I gained consent from a natural area in the desert.
Lizard immediately made an appearance, climbing on a red rock.
I was attracted to lizard.
Lizard was eye level with me.
I was about arms length from lizard.
I gained consent from lizard to do this activity with lizard.
I connected with lizard.
I felt love.
As I was looking lizard eye to eye, along came an insect, flying over lizards head.
In milliseconds, lizard snapped its neck and jumped up to snatch the insect.
The insect safely flew by lizard’s mouth.
I saw the tiny insect was just enough distance from lizard so that lizard could not snatch and eat insect.
Lizard looked at insect as it flew on by safely.
I connected that the sense distance is alive and well in insect and lizard.
I thanked lizard and insect and moved to another attraction of bees – ( I love bees) I gained consent from bees. I watched how bees used the sense of distance. I got physically close with bees. I felt love as I watched them flying toward other bees and flowers and crawling in and out of blooms on the flowers. I thanked bees, flowers etc.
I returned to lizard and distance changed.
I felt Lizard drawing me closer toward it.
Instantly, Lizard and I moved toward each other as two friends greeting each other after a long separation.
I felt an excitement to be back with Lizard.
From lizard’s body movement I sensed lizard was excited I had returned.
It seemed I was drawing lizard toward me.
Lizard and I was about one inch from each other. I knew I could reach my hand out and touch lizard and I felt lizard would have been ok with me touching it. However, I did not.
I felt surprised because lizards body movement appeared to me that lizard remembered me from our first encounter with insect.
From lizard’s body movement I felt lizard more engaged with me.
Lizard felt more comfortable with me.
I was more comfortable with lizard.
Lizard kept coming closer toward me.
I felt love.
I watched lizard -it seemed more relaxed and somewhat playful.
I felt it wanted to play with me. How fun….I thanked all my relations

I discovered that distance can be the difference between life and death.  Distance kept insect safe. I recognized that I’m attracted to up close and personal relationships and to being in the presence of others so I can sense and feel their energy.  I can experience distance between objects as well as experience distances in relationships and so can other forms of life experience distance.

My experience shows me I am a person who feels the whole world is inside me
and that I love life in many forms, I am a person who loves to learn from many forms of life. Distance changed when I did this activity not sure why, maybe my attraction to distance changed. Don’t know…
