POST-COURSE ACTIVITIES

Congratulations on completing the Orientation Course!

We value your participation on the Orientation Course and encourage you to continue on to the next courses.

Extend your learning. Upon completion of the Orientation Course you are qualified to move on to the Introductory Course based on the book Reconnecting With Nature by Michael Cohen (credit optional). From there you may elect to enroll in other courses.

You may also learn a great deal from the Natural Attractions reading course using the book "Einstein's World. " It is a reading course and need not be done online.

We hope you have gained a deeper understanding of yourself and the living world around you. There are several things you can do to continue learning from Nature:

Spend more sensory attraction time in nature everyday.

Enjoy our interactive online self-discovery trails. They help make the introductory course familiar and more relaxed.

Involve a friend in the Natural Systems Thinking Process and the learning opportunities it offers. You will obtain even greater satisfactions and rewards as you teach the Process to others because the purpose of life is to support life.

Facilitate this class for others. Upon completion of this Orientation Course you are eligible to guide others in this course and earn a fee. This also meets a requirement of the Introductory Course. If you are interested in doing this please contact the training office.

Subscribe to the weekly NatureConnect Newsletter. We provide the course member's activity descriptions to subscribers twice weekly, with permission granted to freely re-distribute them. Each description reflects the personal experience of those presently engaged in sensory nature reconnection activities performed in backyards, back country and natural surroundings.

Keep in touch with others with similar interests. You may join the NatureConnect mailing list and share your experiences in Nature with others. Many of these people have also taken this course. Others are considering beginning and could use your support.

You may also elect to keep in contact with your Interact Group on an agreed upon schedule.

Visit Project NatureConnect's web pages at http://www.ecopsych.com to do more study on your own.
