A. Once you obtain the course participants' addresses, make a list of all of the interact group members in your e-mail address book, or use whatever batch/group/alias mail system that works for you. All course-related e-mail should go to your entire interact group.

B. Write a 1-2 paragraph letter of introduction. Include a brief biographical sketch and the reasons you are taking this course. Save this statement and share it with your interact list on the starting date. Please verbalize in this statement the social contract that you are making with the remaining course members. Please assure them that they can trust you to supportively participate and complete the course with them.

C. Visit the Survey of Participants and select what you think are the two most important subject areas identified in the questions and statements found in parts two through six. (10 statements total). Write a paragraph that integrates these statements with respect to them being a reflection of your beliefs and values. On starting date, Post the paragraph to your interact group after you have posted your introduction and responded to the introductions of the other participants.

D. Reminder: This course uses articles and activities in public use elsewhere on our website. If you have already read or done material it presents, skim the article or activity for anything you find anything additionally attractive in it. Repeating attractive activities always brings about new growth. One thing to learn from repeated material is what purpose it serves for you and how you can find itagain, or bring others to it, later.

E. You have, or will shortly receive, the name of your interact study group. To participate in this course, complete the REGISTRATION STATEMENT letter at the top of this page.

F. Formal Coursework: If you are doing this course as part of an accredited program from a cooperating university, you may be required to establish your present GBT Score (Globally Balanced Thinking Score) now. This is a fascinating educational challenge, but not required if you are doing the course only for orientation purposes, not for credit.

Thank you for your interest in this work and the course.
