 Elements of Global Citizenship:
The Science of Connecting With the Web of Life
The Art of Thinking With Nature

 

COURSE OUTREACH AND PUBLIC INFORMATION ACTIVITIES

 

The following activities are designed to psychologically help more people become better global citizens.

Activity One:
Write a letter via postal or email to the editor of a newspaper or magazine pinpointing a specific issue and suggesting how learning and using Natural Systems Thinking activities would help resolve the problem. Be specific about who to contact for additional information.

Activity Two:
Offer to facilitate doing a few of the activities in this course for organizations or groups that help people in recovery from chemical dependency or who are seeking self-improvement opportunities for any other reason.

Activity Three:
Volunteer to work with an environmental organization or other center for responsible relationships and introduce yourself to them as a person who would like to introduce the Natural Systems Thinking Process to them

Activity Four:
Become an intern facilitator for this course and help teach it online.

Activity Five:
Help find internet programs that have similar global and personal restoration goals and offer to introduce the Natural Systems Thinking Process to them.

Activity Six:
At home, work or school make attempts to find individuals who might be interested in learning the Natural Systems Thinking Process and introduce them to this site.

Activity Seven:
Introduce the availability of this course as a transferrable course into other schools and training programs on an individual or curriculum level.

Activity Eight:
Contact the editor of a magazine, newspaper, website or or other publication and let them know about the availability of this program and its goals.
