HELLO FROM ME, A GOOD IRAN CITY WOMAN WHO RESPECTS NATURE
I was waiting for weeks to
find a good time to go to a park located on the western hills
of the Tehran, the capital here in Iran. This park is calling
"flight" probably for its beautiful view from the highest
parts of the city. I like this good place very much and even
tried to find a suitable house near that place in order to enjoy
this beautiful nature. It is one of the parks inside the city
with less interference of mankind. I and my husband went there
on an afternoon few days ago and as soon as we reached to the
hill I asked for my permission and waited to receive it. A smooth
breeze welcomed me; I thanked for being accepted and climbed
the hill. I left myself to freely walk around and let the area
guide me to its attractions.
A very beautiful tree with
pink blossoms was something quite interesting for the beginning.
This tree stranded in the center of a square like place in the
middle of the hill and as I was reaching to it, I felt that I'm
going to say hello to the owner of this house or probably one
of the main family members! I touched the branches and smelled
its blossoms, became freshened and felt more comfortable in the
area. I moved without any specific purpose and left the tree.
I saw my husband intending
to go to a bench that we used to rest there whenever we came
to this area. I find out that there is an attraction for me too
in that place. As we were getting closer to the bench, I saw
the playing garden of the children with its tempting swings.
I wanted to run and swing myself but remembered that I am a grown
woman and should behave as an logical adult in this public area
of our conservative society. I complained my husband for this
and said that I am ignoring this just for you but if I was with
my father right now I will be free to do that. He laughed and
thanked me to respecting him! So, we reached to the bench and
I jump on it and stayed for a while on the back edge of the bench
watched down to the city under my feet and then sat on it.
There was a large amount of
trees in front of my eyes, the sun was shining so brightly over
my head, and sky was pretty blue with its white clean gentle
clouds. I took out my book from
my bag and started to read chapter 17 again. Then I closed my
eyes and practiced some of the activities as mentioned. I felt
the energy and healing beams of the sun and entered to the deepest
parts of the earth by my imagination then expand myself to the
bigger scale and watched myself from much above even through
the universe. The whole experience was something beyond joyful
as I became more and more powerful and happy.
A beautiful butterfly in orange
and black color came across and asked me to follow. I stood up
and followed the trace. The guide showed me some hidden parts
of the area, some strange wide plants, and some violet flowers
and then showed me the big water pipe which was there for protecting
the life of this beautiful area by mankind.
The adventure was so interesting.
I decided to do the activity of chaper 18. So for several times
I gathered all my nature-separated, new-brain stories above my
head and shake my hands in the air and returned them to the environment.
That was quite a new experience which helped me to loose the
useless weights of many harmful stories belonging to my past.
I really respect and appreciate the activity and the area.
I looked over the hill to the
city and watched its highest buildings and towers, thinking that
how poor we are as the people so involved in the city life with
our small houses attached to each other leaving no space to feel
the vast powers of nature. This busy life has created many of
the problems and probably all of them as we are going to be more
aggressive and sick day after day. I felt pity for humankind
and the separation of the origins and at the same time it was
funny in a different view to see all these people including me
who are so serious, respectful and important in a way, try to
be successful in our carrier which are not on the right healthy
path. For example watching our own building (WHO) in that day
(I pretended to be sick and get rid of the ordinary work to have
a time to do my postponed activity), was so so funny. I realized
that we are doing too much paper and electronic works all over
the day and the aim is nothing but preparing health for the all
as it is World Health Organization but at the end, most of staff
are complaining of the different sicknesses which you can see
that there is no reason behind them except for having no time
for themselves to have enough rest and enjoy. And how the beautiful
nature gives us this wisdom so generously and without any expectation
.
I shared my experience with
my husband and we talked especially about Dr. Cohen and admired
him much as I liked him more than before after reading his interview
with the psychologists. My husband who was not much aware of
what we learned during these courses gave me a comment about
the life of the people in the city which was so interesting.
He mentioned that don't feel pity for them because they build
their houses so close to each other as they afraid of nature.
