The Sincere Art of Nature-Connected Science
Overview
The logical process of Objective Science is an art that discovers “truths” for Industrial Society by continually eliminating things that are not evidence-based factual. Its objective methodology produces the benefits of today’s technologically advanced thinking and management skills. Unfortunately, they are accompanied by painful side effects, Earth Misery, personal and environmental disorders. We suffer them because scientific objectivity omits more than 45 subjective, felt-sense facts and arts that, in concert, increase health and balance. They are an inherent part of our “inner child” and the natural world, with the exception of our sense of literature/stories (#39). Nature, being non-verbal, does not speak or understand our words.
Objective science, validates the fact that the Arts of Organic Science make an important personal and global contribution to well-being.
The logical Arts of Organic Science includes Objective Science as a performing art. Moment by moment, it empowers the greatest truth and love that we can trust to identify undeniable facts in any attractive natural area. These facts enable us to reasonably, 54-sense, feel and actualize them in everyday language. This allows the inherent unifying power of that truth’s balancing and purifying ways to wisely attract or attach us, (our inner child and adult reasoning), to additional self-evident truths in arts like Music, Art, Yoga, Mathematics, Creative Writing, Dance, Politics, Spirituality, Chess etc. They all register as 54-sense facts, including nature-connecting stories, that self-organize and are supported by objective science and its technological benefits.
For example, physical water, homemaking ginger tea and the sensation of thirst are all facts of life.
The Art of Organic Science does not create destructive side effects because nature’s attraction powers unify all things, including stories, so no garbage is produced.
Introduction
The world is falling apart due to the incorrect way we learn to think, relate and manage the natural world, in and around us. It too often demeans or omits the self-correcting way Nature’s self-organized (organic) wisdom works. For example, within us the balanced and beautiful 54-sense wisdom of the life of Nature is often called our “inner child” rather than our “unadulterated genius.”
We are in trouble because contemporary Society secretly produces and suffers an abusive, but curable, addiction. It keeps it hidden because it violates our legal rights to life, wellness and morality. It conceals the undisputed truth that while we enjoy and celebrate today’s advanced technologies, economics and management of our planet, they excessively disconnect us from honoring the integrity of our “inner child” natural genius as well as the life of Nature and Earth that nourishes inner child as part of them. This upsetting separation makes us produce the emotionally painful personal and global disorders that we suffer.
The facts are clear. As predicted in 1949, the life of Earth/us became natural-resource bankrupt in 1975 and this overuse deficit has been increasing since then. This impoverishment produces a hurtful “Earth Misery” that unbalances us and fuels our disorders, from mental illness and greed to social and environmental injustice. These dysfunctions continue to worsen because, under the prejudiced-against-nature flags of “progress,” “development” “management” and “objectivity,” we deny Earth Misery and its nature-disconnected cause.
Since we deny that we must deal with this catastrophe, we also omit its antidote, the 54 sense art and science of the Organic Application of Ecopsychology (OAE) developed and accredited by Project NatureConnect pilot programs in 1972.
The art of OAE is a growth process that empowers us to scientifically validate our 54 natural senses. We accomplish this by creating moments in natural areas that let the homeostatic, self-correcting life of Nature/Earth therapeutically teach us what we are missing and what we need to know to remedy Earth Misery and increase happiness.
Our 54-senses are self-evident ways that Nature/Earth connects and makes our body, mind and spirit consciously fuse with Nature’s unifying energies around and in us. This enables us to strengthen the cooperation, peace and balance of our inborn relationship with our planet and each other.
The cathartic happiness we feel when we engage in arts (like painting, music, gardening, counseling, yoga, science, spirituality, writing), is scientifically well established. They relieve the Earth Misery we suffer because they provide reasonable time and space for our 54 senses to freely express themselves and be rewarded with happy and safe fulfillment. In a natural area, when we add OAE to any art, or vice versa, the art also becomes a scientifically valid and critically needed, long term therapy and recovery tool for our discontents and Earth Miseries.

EcoArt Therapy Intelligence
Because, since 1986, we have been reducing Chloroflurocarbon particles that we placed in the atmosphere, the Ozone hole is beginning to recover from the damage inflicted by these particles. The particles were scientifically identified as the source of the Ozone hole. We then sensibly reduced them so the life of Earth’s self-correcting powers could once again operate.
Get real: If you shoot a hole in the roof of your house and then never shoot anything again, the hole remains. It does not repair itself because the house is not biologically alive.
Get sensible: If you shoot a hole in the bottom of your boat water gushes in. If you shoot another hole in the bottom to let the water out, you are bewildered (separated from wilderness and its wisdom) and sinking. If you can’t stop this shooting, you could be addicted to it or need additional bad experiences from it.

Purpose
The purpose of education is to give people the missing things that they need to become contributing and wholesome members of a society that manages the world with ethical and moral justice.
CATASTROPHE: As evidenced by the fact that our unbalanced formal and informal education hurtfully continues to make the world fall apart, what was needed in the past has almost nothing in common with what is needed in the advanced science and technology world of today.
The thrust of Project NatureConnect’s Organic Application of Ecopsychology (OAE) is to learn and apply Eco-Arts Therapy, to its revolutionary wisdom process. Significantly, this enables any interested person to transform their disorders into wellness, come into balance and increase personal, social and environmental well-being.
Because OAE eliminates bad karma, to omit it is negligence.
Presently Known Facts
The Problem.
Because our education excessively estranges us from Nature, for relief from our personal disorders and emotional pain we seek excessive satisfactions from our nature-separated technologies, substances, relationships and fantasies. Long term, this increases our inner child estrangement, hurt and resource overuse.
Since 1974, a distressful short circuit of our psyche has produced today’s catastrophic personal and global relationships (Earth Misery). To our harm, the stories that we presently use to manage the life of our planet and inner child produce, on average, a 45% natural resource deficit every year, and counting. Our lives are in emotional distress and pain from contemporary society traumatically impoverishing the inner child life of Planet Earth/Us.
Our excessive demands on our planet have created the same, average 45% increase in species extinction, mental illness, vertebrate depletion (60%), obesity, climate change, oceanic oxygen reduction, large wildfires, loneliness, atmospheric carbon, population, mass shootings and excessive stress. These are accompanied by increased relationship corruption, child abuse, unhappiness, mistrust, unfairness, expensive health care, political and economic extremes, destructive dependencies, addiction and many other disorders.

Because our management of the life of our Planet and inner child omits OAE, all our heralded science and education, to date, has produced Earth Misery along with our unsolved world peace and justice dilemmas. Our relationship processes must add OAE to every aspect of our Society to reverse this trend and increase happiness, personally and globally. This is easily accomplished.
We seldom recognize that the way we think in any moment influences the structure and health of our planet, inner child and self.
The Source
The core of our Earth Misery is that:
The inner child life of Nature and Planet Earth that we live in, share and are, is organic. It continually has the innate ability to organize and correct itself in sane and unified ways that don’t produce garbage.
The way we learn to daily think and relate is seldom organic. Rather, it is usually organized and directed by the authority of established yet false or outdated, excessively nature-exploitive stories, beliefs and knowledge.
On average, we live in tune with our inner child’s natural organic wisdom for less than 12 hours of our 620,000-hour lifetime.
Contemporary life and education continuing to produce Earth Misery is no different than a person fertilizing an organic farm with toxic waste while regenerative OAE fertilizer is readily available.
To avoid re-living our inner child hurt and mistreatment, we escape the pain by acting out and inflicting on others what was done to us. This increases Earth Misery.
The wisdom of OAE 54-sense relationships adds or transforms 225-2,500 hours of our life to be in tune with Nature’s purifying and restorative bliss rather than exploiting it.
Earth Misery due to climate change alone is the greatest catastrophe and challenge that humanity must address by the year 2040.
The absence of OAE deludes us to think that while Earth’s life is sick our life is well.
Absence makes the heart forget that Nature bats last.
A Social Technology for Organic Relationships and Management
As validated in Project NatureConnect white paper #14 How to Liberate Your Natural Essence: The Art and Science of Sensory Validation by Michael J. Cohen, Ed.D., Ph.D., since 1965 the facts, ways and means of GreenWave-54 offered in Revolutionary Wisdom: Principals of Organic Psychology and With Justice for All are accurate and have successfully operated and been peer reviewed in pilot groups. Reasonable evidence has yet to be presented that denies their authenticity.
The Project NatureConnect (PNC) methods and materials of OAE address and manage the dominant, long-established parts of contemporary society whose prejudice against nature produces the Earth Misery we suffer.
OAE helps us remedy our appalling bias by creating empowerment moments in natural areas that let Nature’s self-organized success teach us what we need to know. It includes consciously sensing our inner child, 54-sense attraction and gratitude to Earth and have it motivate us. This process responsibly revives and supports our inborn, self-correcting inner child attachments to and love of our planet’s life, around, in and as us.
For fifty-two years OAE has shown how and why its art is a unifying tool that enables us to transform our destructive, nature-disconnected ways into the happiness of responsible relationships.
The Challenge
Our continuance of Earth Misery signals that the education and knowledge in the world to date has not stopped us from deteriorating the natural health, peace and love we inherently seek and deserve.
Our present management of the world is faulty. It is insane for us to destroy our own life support system. OAE is a 54-sense tool that gives us the ability to stop this madness because it can be added to any interaction or relationship.
To establish a student’s credibility, Higher Education awards a Master’s or Doctoral Degree to identify, honor and strengthen those who have demonstrated their ability to do research and make at least one new, scientifically, scholarly and emotionally sound contribution to personal or social well-being.
In light of our Earth Misery challenge, the ability of a degree candidate to OAE reduce Earth Misery and help others do the same should be required, but is not, even though it can easily be added to any endeavor.
The Solution
In counteracting the Earth Misery consequences of our unabated prejudice against nature, any person who has mastered and helps others invoke OAE methods and materials meets the criteria for awarding them a degree for the personally unique way that they acquire and apply their OAE skill. Their gift is essential. Their degree strengthens their credibility and expands their vital contribution.
It is fundamental for higher education to corroborate a student’s pioneering OAE skill and dedication. The integrity and relationships of that student, not academics alone, is the key, but missing, OAE link to personal, social and environmental well-being.
OAE helps everything and anything go better. We can’t be truly educated or knowledgeable without it. It works because it includes support for its use by a fiduciary “MyGreenWave.org” community and campus of those who are trained to use and co-mentor its art and science.
It would be unreasonable and irresponsible to not offer a degree program that confirms and enhances a student’s desire to contribute OAE to the world, no matter their limits. It is sorely needed today.
For education to exclude accrediting the personal OAE competency of a student is to repeat and fortify the limited education, counseling, healing and relationships that presently cause Earth Misery.
Every moment spent learning how to invoke OAE is a moment that offsets Education’s negligent omission and boycott of OAE, as described in With Justice for All.
Conclusion
Arts, education, management and leadership that excludes OAE is not credible and continues to increase Earth Misery.
Arts, education management and leadership that includes OAE demonstrates distinguished pioneering credibility that deserves local and global support including degree recognition.
A student who joins the GreenWave-54 fiduciary community with OAE awareness may reasonably co-mentor, design and, with guidance, customize how they will manage the completion of their degree requirements.
