I (still) Enjoys the Shanty Boys!
Hey Mike: Listening to the album right now. Just found the whole thing on YouTube! Ezekiel is still finding that wheel a'whirling in the middle of the air and those boatmen are still dancing and singing.... pretty much doing everything. How are you, Mike? Hope you remember me.... I was a 13 year old boy when you arrived at my New Jersey home with your projector strapped to the back of your motorcycle and changed the trajectory my life my life for good. I'm 67 now and you must be.... well... by my precise calculations ... older than dirt. I wonder where you are these days? I live in Cuenca, Ecuador with my wonderful lady... still leading trips when I can (not these days) and living a life that pretty much began the day I met you. How can I express my thanks for giving me what came to be my life... loving nature, inspiring others to share my love for wilderness, good values and bad puns...and lots of singing. What more else is required to make a man's passage a success? I love you, Mike and there is perhaps no one I need to thank more than you for making my life such a mad, grand, brilliant adventure...Would love to hear from you. Warm hugs and fond remembrances! Jeff
